What is a first year package exactly?

Many of my maternity and newborn clients book a first year package to capture some of those milestone sessions within that first year of birth. When booking a first year package, I just ask my clients to choose at least 3 sessions in the first year with me and I offer them a discount in doing so. You can combine maternity, newborn, and their 1 year photos together, and also can make that 1 year session a family session if you’d like (I’m pretty flexible!). You can add a 3 month, 6 month, 9 months in between or any combo of those. I suggest doing milestones like sitting up and standing (typically 6-7 months and 9-10 months), but you can do any combination of these!!

What do I have my baby wear!? What do I wear?!!

Have no worries-I have a growing client closet and am able to often pull things together for my clients without them purchasing anything (this really truly depends on the ages and sizes of your crew and of course your style!) I have only a few items for dads and older kids, but check with me since I have older kids and items from past sessions that I can usually figure something out, or I can help you figure out where to get something if you don’t already have it. I offer a virtual styling tool, www.styleandselect.com to help you put outfits together as well. It’s so helpful for clients to see those items together to get an idea of their vision. I have all the things for newborns, and dresses for maternity and the mamas. I have plenty of items up to 2T as well. If you book a milestone session with me, I have all the outfits so no need to buy anything extra!! I also provide hats, floral crowns, headbands and bonnets.

Can we do a cake smash?

Absolutely we can! However, I ask that you provide the cake due to allergy reasons. I keep my cake smashes pretty simple, so I ask that you either bring items you want to use or you talk to me ahead of time to use what I have already. But I don’t do anything elaborate since my goal is to keep the focus on your baby and not on all the props.
